Today USCIS published the final rule for the provisional waiver process. This is a long awaited big step in the long awaited change from Consular waiver process to stateside waiver processing for Immediate relatives of US Citizens. Here's what you need to know:
The stateside waiver process will begin 3/4/2013.
The fee is $585 plus $85 for biometrics
Only Immediate relatives of US Citizens can apply.
The standard is the same, it is a high standard, you must prove extreme hardship to a US Citizen Spouse or parent.
Call today to make an appointment with Attorney Zarraga to discuss the provisional waiver, although you cannot apply until March 4, it is a good idea to begin gathering all the evidence to prepare your case. A good waiver packet can take up to one month or more to prepare!
